Resolving Damp in Great Moulton, Norfolk

What a transformation!

Our customer has shared these fantastic photos from a project in Great Moulton, Norfolk, where a solid brick property was suffering from significant damp issues. These problems were caused by an impermeable sand and cement render and a Tyrolean finish trapping moisture inside the walls.

Applying Breathable Insulation and Therma Lime

After removing the existing cement coatings and allowing the building to dry out, breathable insulation was installed to each elevation. To ensure the walls remained entirely vapour-permeable, the exterior was then finished with our Therma Lime, a high-performance insulating lime render and our Fine Lime systems.

A Beautiful, Sympathetic Finish

The result is a beautiful finish that not only looks great but also helps the building perform exactly as intended by allowing moisture to move naturally through the structure.
